This is the hotel in which I decided to always stay during my business trips to Brussels and I have been doing so for the last two years. Why am I doing this? Firstly, in connection with my work, I had the opportunity to evaluate a large number of hotels in Brussels, in particular in the city center and the areas closest to the center. The location of this hotel is quite good - two metro stations are within walking distance, one of which is compatible with the railway station, so it is not a problem to get to any point of the city on business (not only the center) quickly and on time. If you decide to take a walk in the evening, then within 20-30 minutes you can cross the business district (Manhattan) and the pedestrian zone with brand shops of Rue Neuve to get directly to the Grote Markt (Grand Place). As for some of the caveats about the hotel's proximity to a troubled area of the city, a large police base located in an adjacent building makes this location one of the safest and quietest in the city ;-) The hotel's breakfast and kitchen are very decent, and by the way, it's a special pleasure to have breakfast in the cozy garden to which the restaurant opens. The rooms are spacious enough, which is quite important nowadays, spatial standards are not always met in a number of more central hotels. Equipment and comfort of stay at a high level. The hotel staff (which I am always the most scrupulous about) remembers the residents by face, solves all the client's questions in a calm, friendly and correct manner without unnecessary questions and demands to "show ID". In the evening, the bar will be happy to offer you quality and fresh Belgian beer of several varieties.

Hotel is located in a quiet area, with a small grocery behind the premises and the North Station is a 10 minutes walking distance for tram, train or bus to reach all points of interest in Brussels and other parts of Belgium. From 3 full days in Belgium, we spent one day in Brussels and 2 days in Bruges ("Brugge" is a must see in our opinion, we loved each minute in this small city). Rooms with view to the garden are perfect for fresh air and a good rest. The room was always kept clean, daily change of towels and air filter and all inside was (maybe not new but surely) functional. Kind- size bed was prefect for a good night rest. Breakfast offered enough choices of food and beverage. Special mention for all the people at the reception desk, always friendly and glad to assist.

Very convenient location - 5 minutes walk to the Nord train station and 10 - 15 minutes walk to the city center and main sightseeings. Quite comfortable if you plan to travel by train to another cities, like Bruges, Gent, Antwerp. In general rather safe, calm and good looking district, surrounded with the modern business centers and living quartals. Very nice and attentive stuff! Despite hotel is not new it has quite a spacious rooms with the high beds and big mirror in the bathroom. Room cleaning was every day! Bottle of water and tea/coffee amenities in the room were renewed each day, that was quite useful. We had really good vacation also because of the hotel choice!

The room was cleaned to a very high standard, was very spacious, and had a wonderful view of the hotel's gardens. The bathroom was a very good size and I received lots of bathroom necessities and 2 x free bottles of water. There was also a big TV, AC, and lots of plug sockets. There is also a lot of facilities in the hotel including a gym, a bar and a snack bar. The hotel is also conveniently located close to Brussels Nord train station, which has regular trains to the centre of Brussels (only takes 3 minutes) and Brussels Midi/Zuid (only 7 minutes, for Eurostar connections). I must also say that the staff were fantastic and exceedingly helpful and pleasant.

Loved my stay at this hotel! My room was huge (not sure if they are like that? Mine was right at the end of the corridor and twice the size of what I was expecting). Bed was SO comfy. Room generally nice and quiet. Really easy to get to from Gare du Nord train station- it’s about an 8 minute walk from there, and about 20 from central Brussels.
